Yeah, this painting makes me sleepy- in a good way. It was very relaxing to create. It’s a great choice for a bedroom or child’s room!
Sometimes when I paint, God takes me to another world and I create that place. Does this paining remind you of a real place? Maybe a childhood memory?
Personally, my family used to go to Maine and have a 1-2 week long resort in a lake house. I still remember views like this one, relaxing in a hammock under the whispering trees, and listening to the gentle crackle of the fire pit as my family members chat calmly about their day of fishing and boating.
