I was at the aquarium again and was watching these seafloor skimmers (sting rays) skimming the floor of their tanks. I imagined them soaring through the water on their wet wings in the depths of the ocean. 

I had to capture it. That was it. That was the moment. And so I took out my brushes again and created this piece, another of my favorites, even though I don’t do many stingrays of underwater pieces. 

People love putting pieces like these in bathrooms, a smooth and relaxing feel of the ocean enlightening their spa bath getaway.
