Nuthatch at Rest
$127.00
When I was 10, I was paralyzed from the waist down. This was when I started watching and paining birds. They enthralled me, and made me so excited. Birds became a very special interest of mine, and I started watercolors to capture them.
My family put the bird feeders in front of the window where I could see them. I started taking their pictures to begin paintings and drawing.
I would see a lot of nuthatches hanging upside down from my feeders, like circus clowns on a tightrope (at least that’s what I compared them to as a child.)
This nuthatch belongs to a 6 painting set, but also can shine beautifully alone. Some of the set has been sold but you can still see many of them on my website.
