Bluebird at Rest: Original framed 8x10 watercolor artwork
I started watercolor painting when I was 10 years old, paralyzed from the waist down from an illness. In fact, my right hand was paralyzed too, but that didn’t stop me.
I wanted to capture the birds. When I started watching the birds from my wheelchair, I was inspired. They could get up and fly!
I wanted to fly too.
Praying and painting in my wheelchair, even when I had to hold the paintbrush into my right hand with my left, made me feel that I could fly too.
I share these paintings so that you can experience God and fly off as well!
Bluebirds were very uncommon when sitting in my wheelchair looking out the window. I studied how often they stopped by.
I have realized that their population has grown by far in the past years, and as so happy they are coming back!
This one is belongs to a 6 painting set, but also can shine beautifully alone. Pieces of the set have already been purchased, but you can find the rest here on my website.
